I've seen where people talk about how food is their love language, if they like you they're going to feed you. I completely feel the same. I will add something though. Food is my love language to myself. I love to eat. I don't say that loosely though. I don't love to eat just to eat, I love good food, wholesome food, hearty food, sweet food. Although, I'm not a fan of the idea of high processed chemically enhanced food. Don't get me wrong, I am an American, I will eat it. I prefer not to though. I do my best to learn how to cook and bake so that the food my family and myself eat is good food.

Not all home cooked meals are equal unfortunately. I'm not trying to insult anyone. I promise. I'm just saying I'm a foodie, and foodies are critics. I will, however, give anyone credit for effort. I will, no matter how terrible a dish tell some one I am proud of what they made because they put the effort into making it. My husbands favorite go to meal when he's in charge of cooking is Tuna Noodle. My girls LOVE his tuna noodle. It is hands down, unquestionably, their favorite meal. My youngest can't even talk yet and I know its her favorite. My husband also knows its the girls favorite. Just looking at my husband when he watches the girls eat I can tell how proud he is when they devour everything on their plate.

That's my goal here. I don't care how stupid simple or complex a dish is, if its amazing its amazing. If it has room for improvement then by all means experiment. I have had numerous failures for any amount of reasons. I want to share with you my successes and my failures. I also want this to be a place where you, my lovely reader, can share your experiences too. I did not learn to cook simply through experimentation. I have read cookbooks the same way one would read a fiction novel. I have watched videos and tv shows and done research. I want to share. I want to teach. Please, come join me and join the conversation.
